**Avenue Supermarts Raises Rs 100 Crore Through Commercial Paper Issuance**

New Delhi: Avenue Supermarts Ltd, the company behind the popular D-Mart retail chain, has raised Rs 100 crore in short-term debt via the issuance of commercial paper (CP).

The commercial paper was issued on Monday and will mature after 91 days, on December 29, 2025. It carries a coupon rate of 6 percent. According to a recent regulatory filing by the company, the CP is “proposed to be listed on the BSE.” The commercial paper has also been assigned a credit rating of ‘ICRA A1+’.

In a separate announcement, Avenue Supermarts informed that it has opened a new D-Mart store in New Delhi at Epicah Mall & Business Centre, Moti Nagar, on Tuesday. With this latest addition, the total number of D-Mart stores now stands at 431.

Promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, Avenue Supermarts retails essential home and personal products across various markets. These include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, the National Capital Region (NCR), Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
