According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers plan to release the teaser on **October 12**. A source shared, “The makers are excited about the film, and the teaser will offer a glimpse into the film’s theme, its madness, and the principal characters. It’s sure to enhance the buzz for this romantic comedy.”
Produced by **Luv Films** and **T-Series**, the sequel aims to capture the same charm and humor that made the original popular.
### New Cast Addition and Plot Details
Directed by Anshul Sharma, **De De Pyaar De 2** introduces R. Madhavan to the cast, playing Rakul Preet Singh’s father. The film’s storyline revolves around a hilarious rivalry between Ajay Devgn (aged 56) and Madhavan (aged 55) as they compete over Singh’s character, who is dating a man older than her father.
Recently, a promotional song for the sequel was shot at a popular restobar in Mumbai, adding to the film’s promotional activities.
